Memorial Health – This case study highlights how Memorial Health has implemented an annual survey process that provides both middle management and senior leaders engagement results, which are used as a critical measure in their overall strategic plan. The results allow Memorial Health to assess the correlation between patient satisfaction and employee engagement and to plan for the future needs and growth of their organization. Memorial Health has won the “J.D. Power and Associates Distinguished Hospital” award and the “100 Best Companies to Work For” award for the past two years. Pratt & Whitney - This case study highlights how Pratt & Whitney, a leader in flight and engine technology, successfully used their employee engagement survey to refocus and redefine their business during extremely competitive and turbulent times. In redefining who they are and what they do best, the senior executives of Pratt & Whitney utilized their employee survey as a tool to measure and increase levels of employee engagement. By improving employee engagement and reducing the number of disengaged employees, Pratt experienced a savings of $30 million dollars.
