Job Title: Java Software Programmer

Location: Lake Zurich, Illinois (45 mins N/W of Chicago)

Foresight provides survey research services to corporations, associations and professional organizations. Survey data are collected from a variety of sources: paper or web-based surveys, workshop or session evaluations and Electronic Sales Lead Retrieval. Our innovative solutions are used in some of the world’s most renowned companies and associations.

The Java Computer Programmer will design software applications to create online, web-based surveys for worldwide client access. Customization of software applications may be required to integrate client’s system requirements into protocol.

Technical Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years experience in Java (JSP and Servlets). Apache Tomcat experience and knowledge of Apache Software Foundation class libraries (eg. the commons libraries) a strong plus.
• Firm grasp of OO and MVC concepts is required.
• Minimum 1 year experience with CVS required.
• Minimum 3 years experience with Ant.
• Minimum 3 years experience with SQL (MySQL is a plus).

• Clear understanding of design patterns (IoC etc.) a plus.
• XML experience a plus.

• Good problem solving and system integration skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Programming or related degree required.

Salary Range: $47,000 to $70,000
