Position: Survey Consultant
Foresight Survey Support International, Inc ., a leader in providing on-line survey research services, multi-national surveys and 360° leadership development assessments, has an opening for a Survey Consultant. Survey Consultants work with our current clients to understand survey objectives, develop appropriate instruments and processes, and analyze and interpret results transforming statistical data into strategic knowledge and actionable results. The Survey Consultant will also be responsible for developing new business as well as overseeing office staff.
Position responsibilities include:
Business Development
- Develop and maintain new and existing client relationships
- Identify new business opportunities from existing accounts and new prospects
- Conduct product demonstrations for potential clients via the internet or in face-to-face meetings
- Provide cost information, proposals, and quotes
- Coordinate with sales staff to define project requirements
- Negotiate contracts
- Deliver/present cost proposal (with sales staff)
Survey Consultation and Account Management
- Survey consultation to u nderstand client organizational needs
- Work with senior leadership to develop survey goals and vision
- Develop survey items and categories with client
- Develop overall survey strategy based on sound research and business practices
- Provide follow-up consultation to the survey process
- Work with client to understand and interpret results
- Provide summary analysis
- Work with client to develop action plans
- Develop and present Executive Summaries
- Develop and conduct training programs/offsite executive meetings, etc.
- Plan for future survey and training requirements
- Maintain costs within client budget
- Renegotiate for work not identified in cost proposal (before work is done)
- Create and follow up on invoices as requested
- Maintain good client records
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must have previous business experience in areas such as survey research, management consulting, human resources, training and development, and/or business development.
- Minimum educational and business experience requirements are a Masters in Industrial Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Statistics or other related field
- Three to five years of business experience.
- Must have a good understanding of statistics, business acumen, and proven leadership abilities.
- Salary commensurate with education and experience.
- Travel (national and international) is required.
